Downtown Lexington KY 3D Maps a New Feature

Downtown Lexington KY is in the process of adding a new easy to use 3D interactive map in various locations. The maps, as explained by Urban Designer Brandi Berryman of the Lexington Downtown Development Authority are utilizing 3D modeling software to create a dynamic 3D computer model of Lexington’s downtown. It has helped in visualizing future projects, identifying key areas for development, and has been used as a great marketing tool for downtown.

The LDDA is now working toward taking the model a step farther to create a web accessible interactive map that aims to capture one’s attention while also providing useful information about downtown that would promote development. Check out the current map at www.lexingtondda.com.
